Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin launches Fourth Opihr World Adventure Cocktail Competition Expanding to New Markets

As the world’s fastest growing super premium gin*, Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin will significantly expand the international reach of its Opihr World Adventure Cocktail Competition in 2017. The competition which is now in its fourth year launches today to bartenders internationally.

Bartenders in new growing premium gin markets, including Australia, Hong Kong and Germany, will compete against core markets, such as the UK, US and Spain, to win the chance to compete at the global grand final in Marrakech, Morocco to become the Opihr World Adventure Global Champion 2017.

Originally launched in 2013, Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin was inspired by a mysterious region in the Orient and the exotic flavours are carefully sourced from locations along the Ancient Spice Route, including cardamom from India, spicy cubeb berries from Indonesia and coriander from Morocco.

These exotic flavours are at the heart of the competition and bartenders are invited to create an Opihr cocktail inspired by a location on the Ancient Spice route, competing internationally to win a place at the global final in Marrakech. They will be challenged on innovation, thinking on their feet, and their creative use of Opihr. The winner will receive a trip for two to a mystery location on the Spice Route to live and breathe the essence of the brand.
